As the only active member of the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) in the state of Oklahoma, Grant Provence has provided high-caliber sound recording for film & TV for over 20 years. With a deep love of filmmaking and a near-useless degree in film theory, he means it when he says, “When it sounds good, it looks better.”
Armed with a decade+ career in NYC, Grant cut his chops in the fast-paced world of NYC Fashion Week runways, corporate finance videos and down-and-dirty reality series production.
Over the years, he’s developed a depth of experience across a variety of media focusing on narrative film, tv, high-end commercials, and docuseries.
Working closely with Francis Ford Coppola on his experimental project “Distant Vision” and on a commercial with long-time inspiration Mark Romanek have been true career highlights.
Other bright spots include working on Martin Scorsese, Jordan Peele and Taylor Sheridan projects. Grant counts Anonymous Content, Paramount+, Netflix, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, Nike, HBO, Zero Point Zero and Radical Media as clients.
He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and two young sons.
Available for work in Okc, Tulsa, Texas and the surrounding region. Will travel.
